The Old Testament events of Moses Tabernacle and Solomon's Temple are a couple of the ways that God is pointing to the time of Jesus, and where the Divine Presence will and does dwell. 
 
Down through time God has always provided a way for those that are interested in Him (His remnant) to find Him because He wants to be with us. He wants us to choose Him and He shows us how.

When you open your heart and Jesus comes in to be with you, you are now a temple of His Holy Spirit. You are His dwelling place, His tabernacle. Jesus, the Kingdom Craftsman, the master craftsman, established this by His Death and Resurrection. This is the New Testament written in Jesus Blood.

Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you. If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple.     1 Cor 3:16-17     For we are the temple of the living God.     2 Cor 6:16
